About Me
Engr. A K M Ayatullah Hosne Asif started his teaching career with the Department of Textile Engineering at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University in Bangladesh as a Lecturer on 29 April 2013. Now, he is serving as Associate Professor in the same department since 22 August of 2020. Earlier Mr. Asif received his B.Sc. (Engg) and M.Sc. (Engg) degree in Textile Engineering from the Department of Textile Engineering at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (Bangladesh) in 2013 and 2016 respectively. He also obtained Prime Minister Gold Medal, Chancellor’s Gold Medal Award for highest academic performance. Mr. Asif is a contributor of a number of research projects focused on Textile Processing, Manufacturing, Environmental Sustainability, Garments Sewing Technology etc. that is published in various well reputed peer reviewed international journals. Mr. Asif's principal research interest lies in the area of Traditional Costumes, Fashion Design, Functional Textiles, Industrial Engineering and Management etc. His teaching interest also includes Functional Materials, Textile Processing, Industrial Management, Apparel Merchandising, International Trade, Fashion Theories and Contemporary Problems etc.
